J.B. Milliken

Chancellor of the University of Texas System


Milliken was named head of the University of Texas System in 2018. As chancellor, he oversees one of the largest public university systems in the U.S. with 14 health and academic institutions, including six medical schools. Previously, Milliken served as chancellor of the City University of New York, president of the University of Nebraska and senior vice president at the University of North Carolina.
