Students who attend the Texas Tribune Festival are the future leaders of Texas, so we’ve created an enhanced experience geared toward helping you get the most out of #TribFest18.

Get your student discount, or volunteer and come for free!

Thanks to our generous sponsors, student passes to the Festival are only $50 to experience three full days of programming. If that’s still too steep, volunteer and earn access. As few as four hours gets you a day pass and credit toward a Texas Tribune membership. Details and sign-up here.

Apply to be a social media ambassador
Application closed. All applicants will be notified of their status shortly.

Are you an aspiring social media influencer who is always in the know about what’s trending and who said what? Do your friends look to you for trending news updates? The Texas Tribune Festival and the New Politics Forum are excited to offer students a unique opportunity to serve as social media ambassadors at the upcoming Festival in Austin, Texas.

Through the social media ambassador program, select students will have unique access to conversations and civic leaders guiding our state's and our nation's next steps, including more than 250 leading figures in politics and public policy. Through the program, students will serve as on-the-ground correspondents, detailing the sights and sounds of all things Festival on their social media platforms.

Join Campus Correspondents

Students can join Campus Correspondents, The Texas Tribune’s Facebook group that is dedicated to discussing higher education policy and the issues that matter most to young Texans. Too often, college students feel left out of discussions about policies that directly affect them. This Is Your Texas: Campus Correspondents is our answer to that.
