Students at the Fest

Students who attend the Texas Tribune Festival are the future leaders of Texas, so we’ve created an enhanced experience geared toward helping you get the most out of #TribFest19.

Get your student discount, or volunteer and come for free!

Thanks to our generous sponsors, student passes to the Festival are only $50 to experience three full days of programming. If that’s still too steep, volunteer and earn access. As few as four hours gets you a day pass and credit toward a Texas Tribune membership. Details and sign-up here.

Social media ambassadors
Applications are now closed. Applicants will be hearing from us soon.

Are you a social media aficionado? Do your friends look to you for trending news updates? Help us cover this year’s festival by serving as an official Social Media Ambassador, in partnership with the Annette Strauss Institute’s New Politics Forum.

Through the social media ambassador program, select students will have unique access to conversations and civic leaders guiding our state's and our nation's next steps, including more than 250 leading figures in politics and public policy. Through the program, students will serve as on-the-ground correspondents, detailing the sights and sounds of all things Festival on their social media platforms.

On Friday and Saturday mornings, all students are invited for tacos and coffee to pre-game the day and connect with other #TTFStudents. Meet Annette Strauss Institute staff and our social media ambassadors, get highlights of the day and inside information on what’s happening.
